Our long term goal is to offer apprenticeships to program graduates.
The School partners extensively with the local schools, the NW School of Wooden Boat Building and the CedarRoot Folk School.
The School is situated at Fort Worden and is a leading member of the Program Partners Group.

My degree is in Geology. I worked for the Geological Survey of Great Britain for six years doing field survey work in the Southern England and East Anglia. Most of my work was in the Upper Cretaceous and Glacial sequences. I also monitored deep borehole work in Southern UK and worked closely with the National Coal Board and oil exploration companies.

I worked for Lotus, IBM and Unisys. I ran Quality Engineering Teams. Software Development Teams and Product Teams. I have broad experience in developing software products, software development processes and program management.
I helped to design and implement several versions of Lotus 1-2-3 including running the test team for the Japanese version of 1-2-3 in 1986.
At the end of my career at Lotus / IBM I ran the development team creating a mobile device interface to Lotus Notes and SMS system.
